Return of Simba J. Cole

Make Way For The Chosen One

J. Cole continues his flurry of free tracks with Return of Simba. Cole’s music quality is always worth paying for and the crazy part is that everything he has given us has been free. It seems like he is gearing up to take this summer over releasing about a song a week. Return of Simba is my favorite of these loose tracks. The title alone just goes with him coming back for what he feels is rightfully his (just like simba),but instead of king of the jungle, its the title of king of rap. The delivery, subject matter, and just the hunger in his voice. No one raps like him.

“So this is who i speak for…to give them young n-ggas somethan they can reach for….you better dream boy!”

He hasnt even released his first c.d. yet and he is my favorite rapper at the moment. I just hope his first c.d. is consistent with the mixtapes and loose tracks hes been putting out. I felt that Drake’s first c.d. (So Far Gone) was good but wasnt consistent with the previous mixtapes and no one would say its a classic. I hope J. Cole puts out a c.d. that can stand by the other classic debut rap albums (Ready to Die, Reasonable Doubt, Illmatic etc.) I really think he is that good but we will see what happens. I think thats what he is gearing up for. Cole World!

“i only make classics, what that take? timing……..Cole under pressure, what that make? diamonds!”
